Airflow Testing and Balancing

We are a NEBB certified firm that specializes in the test and balance of HVAC systems. We are capable of balancing simple systems to the most complex air systems in the industry. All our technicians are NEBB certified and trained to use these procedural standards to complete the balancing process.

Hydronic Testing and Balancing

We are a NEBB certified firm that specializes in the test and balance of HVAC systems. We are capable of balancing simple systems to the most complex hydronic systems in the industry. All our technicians are NEBB certified and trained to use these procedural standards to complete the balancing process.

Fume Hood Performance Testing

We are a NEBB certified firm that specializes in performance testing and certifying of fume hoods. We are capable of certifying fume hoods in hospital, laboratory, or industrial facilities. We can also perform ASHRAE 110 tests on fume hoods. Our experience in the test and balance industry also gives our technicians the ability to troubleshoot issues that may be causing performance issues with existing equipment.

Stairwell Pressurization Testing

Stairwell pressure testing is a life safety specialized test that ensures that stairwells are properly pressurized so that smoke from a fire does not infiltrate the stairwell during an evacuation.

Kitchen Hood Testing

We can test commercial kitchen ventilation systems. This includes setting the exhaust and make up air systems to ensure proper airflow and pressure of the kitchen and the envelope of the building.

Duct Leakage Testing

We can perform duct leak testing of HVAC air distribution systems to ensure that the leakage rates do not exceed the specified values. This ensures that the system supplies the airflow to the intended locations in the most energy efficient way.

Environmental Testing Service, Inc. was established in 1984. We are a NEBB certified firm providing quality testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems. Our goal is to provide customers with honest and accurate reporting. This is achieved by the quality of the employees that we hire, and by using the latest and most advanced technology available. In July of 2020 we obtained a NEBB certification in Fume Hood Performance Testing. This will allow us to service clients with a wider variety of services.

Environmental Testing Service of Columbus was established in 2019. Expanding our services to a greater number of clients in the Southeast. We are a NEBB certified firm providing the same quality testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems.
